I’m the co-founder and co-producer of The Stoop Storytelling Series, a live event in Baltimore in which 7 people get 7 minutes each to tell a true, personal tale on a shared theme in front of a live audience.
Everyone has a story. What’s yours?
The Stoop’s motto is “Everyone has a story. What’s yours?” and its mission is to showcase the extraordinary stories of “ordinary” people. Since its founding in 2006, The Stoop has sold out nearly every show and featured the stories of more than 800 people onstage. These stories are available at stoopstorytelling.com and via The Stoop podcast.
The Stoop has been covered in The Washington Post and The New York Times.
In addition to its mainstage shows in the 700-seat historic Senator Theatre, The Stoop presents special events, offers storytelling workshops, and runs a popular open-mic storytelling series called “Second Stoop.”
